Museum-quality print on gallery wrapped canvas - 2025
Royal Ebony was originally done on paper and is oil over acrylic backgrounds and metallic paints. Royal Ebony is still in Italy waiting to be framed and placed in my gallery, Galeria d’Oro e Colori in Torrita di Siena which opens in February, 2026 She was a beautiful experimentation in which I underpainted the highlights of her glorious skin in gold shiny metallic paint. Then I painted over it in oils giving it a radiance that you cannot get with just one type of medium. Royal Ebony is one of my favorite paintings. She is unapologetically beautiful.
